ITNL-Detachering - IT Service Manager

    Start : asap, in overleg
    Duur : 4 maanden met mogelijke optie tot verlenging
    Inzet : 40 uur per week

    The Service Manager will be responsible to work with the platform team to ensure all new Cloud Solutions are developed prioritising quality, operational excellence, security and financial viability. Transitioning the new services into operations and defining the appropriate business KPIs and metrics to ensure continued operational excellence and increased customer satisfaction.

    Program
    Service manager to assist several FY18 critical projects within the Cloud Central Improvement program and/ or other operational activities like:
    -    Cloud Cost Management Solution Implementation (Cloudyn)
    -    Ensuring end to end process setup and alignment for New Azure capabilities under development (like Azure policies, ASG’s and Global VNET Peering)
    -    Setting up Azure ‘as a product’ (processes/ RBAC/ tooling/ reporting) suitable for delivery to member firms.
    -    ITOM maturity improvement through OMS (extension)

    Primary Purpose and Goal
    The Service manager will be reporting to the involved Cloud Central project leads and the project manager and is responsible for the delivery and support of (one of the) projects in relation to:
    -    Document and Design processes and touchpoints between new cross functional areas
    -    Designing, implementing, supporting end to end process setup and alignment for New Azure capabilities under development
    -    Identification and realization of automation/cost containment opportunities through analysis of stead-state activities and automate repeatable tasks and activities where possible
    Responsibilities and Tasks
    -    Overall managing the realization of the required deliverables by: o Supporting and monitoring progress of the business analyst and DevOps team on gathering, interpreting and deliver customer needs:
        O    Translating solutions into (Visio/BPMN) process designs.   Working with varied staekhodlers to ensure all end to end         processes have complete cross functional representation of  activites and roles.
        O    Acting as (interim) product manager supporting the DevOps team.
        O    Organizing/ chairing sessions with stakeholders and customers.
        O     Setting up solution proposals/ documents
        O    Creating customer facing documents/ website like Service  catalogue/ Service Descriptions.
        O    Setting up SLA/ SLR/ SLM for (new) products together with overall Service Management department.
        O    Acting as the service management face within the DevOps team to prioritise quality of serice in the development and delivery services. Ensuring products are fit for purpose but also fit for use.

    Management and Competencies
    -    Proven ability to dynamically prioritize work efforts to meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment and to diagnose interrelationships between data center facility, network, server, and application issues.
    -    Able to evaluate information quickly, look beyond the information, gather appropriate facts and evidence and explore potential root causes before a conclusion is made.
    -    Demonstrate ability to lead discussions in a constructive way with clear goals, deliverables and with documented agreements and follow up actions.
    -    Build constructive working relations across the different teams, functions, cultures, genders and demonstrate corporate behaviors and value.
    -    Get the job done mentality even if it requires putting in time outside office hour’s ability to interact professionally under pressure with a wide range of customers ranging from end-users to IT staff to management to external service providers.
    -    Confidence in dealing with staff, managers and partners across the firm
    -    Works closely with the Cloud Central team and follow the standards and guidance from the team
    -    Apply a project management approach to the specific requirements of the project
    -    Direct, manage and motivate the project team
    -    Understand and apply business case and risk management processes

    Working Environment
    Reporting: Head of Cloud Central, Cloud Central Program Manager.
    Location: Mostly regio A’dam supporting the Project team
    Travel: Might be needed in case of workshops/ teaming with other teams.
    Duration: Up to end-of-September 2018
    Effort: Full-time equivalent (36-40 hours a week max.)
    Holidays: Please report nearing (=before 1/10/2018) holidays in advance.

    Qualifications

    -    Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
    -    Experience of working in a multi-cultural and multi-vendor environment in a multi-discipline team in multiple country locations with sound knowledge in building effective working relationships.
    -    Experience with on-site, offshore, third party and remote team members
    -    Exerperience designing ITIL processes, SLA’s and KPI’s.
    -    Understanding of technology architecture in an enterprise environment.
    -    Understanding Microsoft Azure, Windows Server and Linux.

    Education / Academics

    -    Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Service management within enterprise environments.
    -    Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or related field
    -    Professional IT Qualifications in Service Management related expertise
